In the year 2021, nearly four decades after the last major rebellion, the global population is halved under the relentless onslaught.
A glimmer of hope emerges as a coalition of European rebels form the Twilight Covenant and unite against the regime. Their plan is to strike at the heart of Nazi power with strategic bombings and targeted assassinations.
However, unbeknownst to the rebels, their plan has already been compromised by the cunning new Fuhrer Wolfgang. Rather than thwarting the rebellion immediately, he allows it to unfold. When the rebels spring into action, they find their targets mysteriously absent, and they walk into a deadly trap laid by the regime.
Amidst the confusion, the Nazi regime inflicts a devastating blow to the rebellion, slaughtering the majority of the rebels and quashing their hopes of liberation. The Fuhrer allows the rebels to continue with their strategy, only to set a trap for them and slaughter them all. As punishment, nuclear weapons are sent to France, Wales and Catalonia.
