DETERMINISM

What is Determinism?

Determinism in causality is the belief that all events are determined by past events. Any action that has occurred, will occur, or is occurring is a result of previous actions that have taken place. In essence this suggest that concepts such as randomness or free will do not truly exist in the world as everything that happens is determined by something that has preceded it.

By the logic of this concept, all events are predetermined as anything that exists is a result of something, which in itself is the result of something else, and so on and so forth.

Example

A popular example to showcase Determinism are dominoes.

In a stack of dominos, toppling the first domino causes all subsequent dominoes to fall as a result of the previous one. There is no room for chance as one event will always cause another.

Taking this concept into more real life scenarios means every event or action a person takes is an individual domino piece. And the result of that action is always determined by the piece that topples behind it.

Therefore, nothing a person does is truly because of their own will, and is instead the resulting cause of a preceding event.

How Kappa - Ena showcases Determinism

While only 1 event follows this, its resulting effect is directly tied to the one right before it. WW3 in space leads to the near total destruction of mankind which leads to a desolate planet. This event could not occur without its predecessor and is a direct result of it. Thinking back to the dominos analogy, WW3 Space is what topples over to hit this next domino and cause it to fall too

One thing to note:

As mentioned in prior events, due to the nature of Determinism and placement of this event on the timeline, it would mean that every event before this led to WW3 in space. This is not the case as the theories of causality only apply to events after the change has been made.

This project aims to simplify and educate the user. Therefore, despite events in the timeline taking place before the WW3: Space scenario, for the sake of simplicity, they will not be included in outlining the theory for this timeline. it is also as such to keep continuity with the ALPHA Timeline.

Conclusion

Determinism is a concept in which all events are determined by those that precede it. In Kappa - Ena, this will be showcases by each event emphasizing its existence as a result of a previous event.
